Principal dentist

Dr Simon Walsh completed his bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide. He worked in the Northern Territory immediately after graduating for five years. He also worked in United Kingdom for one year before returning to Adelaide to continue in private practice.

He bought our practice in 2002 and has steadily grown the business, continuing to offer a high standard of dental care.

Dr Amy Cao
Associate dentist

Dr Amy completed her dental degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, graduating with awards for academic excellence and leadership. In addition to working privately, Dr Amy is also a dental officer for the South Australian Dental Service in the public sector.

Her gentle and friendly chair-side manner help even the most anxious patients enjoy their dental visit. She takes pleasure in getting to know her patients and tailoring treatment to each individual.

In her spare time, Dr Amy loves arts and crafts, eating out and volunteering for dental charities.

Angela Ferguson

Dental Hygienist

Angela is an experienced, caring and qualified dental hygienist. She completed her Advanced Diploma of Oral Health at TAFE SA.

She enjoys patient interaction and providing patients with excellent preventative care and education.

Angela is comitted to continuing professional development to provide her patients the best possible care.

Beth Bowshall

Oral Health Therapist

Beth completed the bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) at the University of Adelaide.

This qualification allows dual scope treatment for her patients as a dental hygienist and dental therapist for children under 18.

Beth loves working with children and enjoys educating patients on good oral health. She attends regular courses and seminars to make sure she is providing her patients with the best standard of care.

During her studies she was able to complete a placement in Cambodia where she treated children in the capital city, Phnom Penh. Outside of work Beth enjoys travelling and playing ice hockey.

Kyla Burman

Oral Health Therapist

Kyla graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide in 2004.

She is a passionate Oral Health Therapist, with experience in private dental practice and public dental service. Kyla has dedicated four years of volunteer service as a Dental Hygienists’ Association of Australia Executive Committee member, was employed as Oral-B’s dental schools’ speaker, and participated in other community oral health promotion activities.

Kyla is currently engaged in a variety of clinical education roles for the teaching of dentists, oral health therapists, dental hygienists and dental assistants at the University of Adelaide and TAFESA.

In her own time Kyla loves to be with her family and friends, supporting the Adelaide Crows and indulging in delicious food and wine.
